This painting came about with no plan and no particular inspiration. It grew from the first few brush strokes into this painting. It has quite a few layers and colours. it is moody and has a lone tree standing watch. In my imagination this lone pencil pine in Tasmania is on the edge of a tarn. It has been a part of the landscape for hundreds if not thousands of years and has weathered many storms. It may be close to the end of its days but it is still strong.

This painting is an original watercolour by Scott Swinson painted using Winsor and Newton Artist quality watercolours on Rives BFK 100% cotton rag, acid free paper. It is signed on the front right. It will be shipped unframed with a certificate of authenticity in a protective sleeve in a solid tube. Shipping is free worldwide!
